The Roman Catholic Church of The Holy Innocents is located in the Fashion Center, mid-town Manhattan. Founded in 1866, the mission of the church is to be a spiritual oasis in one of busiest business districts in the world - Times/Herald Square. The celebration of three daily Masses, including one daily Mass in the Tridentine Latin Rite, confession, and public devotions, enable visitors time for personal and communal prayer. Fr. George W. Rutler is the Administrator of Holy Innocents.

Cardinal Dolan's Parish Planning Decisions were announced on Sunday, Nov. 2nd. They can be found online at archny.org/decisions-released. Holy Innocents will remain open as an independent parish. Moreover, Fr. Leonard Villa has been appointed the new pastor, effective Dec. 28th; he will celebrate his first Mass on Sunday, Dec. 28th at 10:30 am. Outgoing administrator Fr. George Rutler will celebrate the Christmas midnight Latin Mass as his final Mass here as administrator.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 24 – CHRISTMAS VIGIL
4:00 pm – Christmas Vigil Mass (English)
7-8 pm – Christmas Carols
Church doors open at 11pm for Carols in preparation for the midnight Mass 
THURSDAY, DEC. 25 – NATIVITY OF THE LORD, CHRISTMAS
12:01 am – Christmas Midnight Mass (Tridentine Latin)
10:30 am – Christmas Day Mass (Tridentine Latin)
12:30 pm – Christmas Day Mass (English)

[FrGroeschel] Fr. Benedict Groeschel, CFR, who, for several decades enlightened our parishioners with his popular third Saturday Gospel Conferences, and together with the Franciscan Friars & Sisters of the Renewal, was at the forefront of our Pro-Life Witness on the annual Feast of the Holy Innocents, passed away on Friday, October 3rd.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may he rest in peace!
 
The funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 10th at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ. (The burial was at the Most Blessed Sacrament Friary, Newark, NJ) More details may be found at http://franciscanfriars.com/father-benedict/
